Our smart classrooms are ventilated with proper lighting. Each class room has class room with all essentials like desk, pench, chair, table, cupboard, racks and teaching aids with smart class tech.
Pre clinical Science laboratory is designed to enable the students to acquire Knowledge of the Anatomical Structure& Functions, Biochemical Composition and its alteration of the Human Body Systems. This Lab also provides the opportunity for the students to identify the Micro-organism and practicing infection control methods. The Nursing Students are utilizing the Pre clinical Science laboratory (Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Pathology)
The Nursing Foundation Lab offers nursing students a simulated clinical environment to develop basic clinical skills such as patient assessment, medication, administration, and wound care, among others, to prepare them for real-world nursing practice.
Andavar College of Nursing’s Community Health Nursing Lab provides nursing students with the opportunity to develop skills in community health nursing, including community assessment, health promotion, disease prevention, and health education, through hands-on experiences.
Andavar College of Nursing’s Nutrition Lab is equipped with tools and equipment necessary for conducting nutrition assessments and providing nutritional care, helping nursing students to understand the importance of nutrition in patient care.
The MCH Lab is equipped with maternity examination model, gynecological examination model, delivery model, charts & other equipment. Child Health Lab is having models, charts & various play therapy material, Here students learn about all the nursing care skills essential for the care of the newborn, infants & children.
Computer labs are fully equipped with systems and latest software with an environment to implement and experiment knowledge acquired in the classroom. All the systems have internet facility.
Andavar College of Nursing’s Pediatric Lab is designed to help nursing students gain hands-on experience in pediatric nursing care, including neonatal care, child health promotion, and illness prevention.
The College auditoriums are regular venues for conferences, workshops, and seminars. The purpose of the auditoriums is to enhance the quality of education. To make this possible, the auditorium offers facilities such as LCD projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures and events.
Our College Library is equipped to meet essential academic and intellectual needs of the students. It is spacious, and has been renovated to make it more user friendly. Open access system, Spacious reading rooms provide an atmosphere conducive to study. More then 4500 books with adequate national and international journals. Library is Wi-Fi enabled for internet connectivity. Many CD’s and DVD’s are also available in the library collection.

Andavar College of Nursing operates buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around Nagapattinam city. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, internship programmes, industrial visits and recruitments.
Sports science is an amalgamation of several different disciplines like physiology, psychology, bio-mechanics and nutrition. Sports room is equipped with varieties of indoor and outdoor games with adequate space along with playground within the campus.
Our AV – Aids Rooms are fully equipped with various electronic devices for the effective teaching & learning such as LCD projectors, Over Head projectors, T.V, V.C.R , C.D Player, Tape recorder etc. We also have various Teaching materials & Demo materials, which helps in teaching and practical classes.
